PolyPods high profile
Description
PolyPods High profile were developed after the success of the PolyPods Standard and Low heel variants. During a contract to supply PolyPods in volume to an NHS health board, further development by Discovery Orthotics at the request of their clinicians resulted in the production of the PolyPods High profile.
The PolyPods High profile devices are a successful addition to the PolyPods range and have proved to be very beneficial to NHS and private prescribers throughout the country.
These economic devices are perfect for keeping in stock for immediate treatment or can be customised, incorporating additions and covers to produce a high quality device.
- High arch profile with apex of arch moved back
- Range of adult sizes from 3 to 12
- Built in medial rear foot control of 4°, 6° or 8°
- Grooved heel and anterior edge to aid grip
- Matte top finish reduces slippage
- Supply to patients as they are or customised with additions and covers
- Low cost allows stock to be held in clinics for immediate use
- Durable injection moulded polypropylene shell
- Ideal economic base.
When shell adjustments or additions are required see custom made semi-bespoke polypropylene.
